Emblems of Secret Brotherhood

As Milan Kundera says – "In Tereza's eyes, books were the emblems of a secret brotherhood. For she had but a single weapon against the world of crudity surrounding her: the novels."

This is a sentiment I have always believed. Even today, with most people where conversations matter - we are discussing books and articles all the time. What a beauty it is to be surrounded with people who are so apart, but still so close in ways hard to fathom.
